OTTAC funding will be used to increase access to comprehensive and culturally humble behavioral health services through provision of training and technical assistance (TTA) to individuals and organizations.
The OTTAC will facilitate growth in the number of certified/licensed behavioral health professionals through administration of professional workforce development opportunities, including clinical supervision of individuals seeking licensure or certification, as well as internships, fellowships, and other paid training experiences.
The primary focus will be on communities disproportionately impacted by opioid overdoses and multigenerational harms associated with structural racism and health inequities.
